The role of acupuncture in cancer care is to focus on post-operation pain control and helping side effects that arise from cancer treatments and therapies. Patients often come with concerns of pain, fatigue, as well as nausea and vomiting, depression, anxiety, hot flashes, neuropathy, and insomnia.
